Eight Spectacular Spring Days in Spain Tour

Today, you will venture to the awe-inspiring Spanish cities of Jerez and Cadiz. The palm-filled paradise of Jerez will welcome you first. Here, you can discover all there is to know about its equestrian origins and its signature gourmet item of the local sherry. Your guide will lead you to a Spanish bodega, where you can sample the iconic sherry, before being treated to a mesmerizing live performance by the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. Following the amazing horse show, you will hop on a ferry and make your way to Cadiz, where you will tour the medieval town center with your expert guide before being given free time to spend at your leisure.

Today will have you embarking on another exciting adventure to the Spanish town of Aracena. En route to the idyllic enclave, you will stop for several tastings of Iberian ham. Upon your arrival in Aracena, you will have lunch at a local taverna before strolling through the streets and witnessing the many marvels of this charming town. You will then make your way to the natural wonder of Gruta de las Maravillas, which is a captivating cave that will leave you speechless. This morning, you will fly in a hot air balloon, which will have you soaring high in the sky above Granada. While you fly above the city and indulge in champagne and a delightful brunch, you will be able to peer down from your balloon at the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains and some of Granada’s most famed landmarks, including the Alhambra Palace and the Sacromonte Caves. This evening will find you being treated to a private cooking class with a unique twist. Your class will take place in an actual Flamenco gypsy cave in the ancient Sacromonte neighborhood, which is known to be an old stomping grounds of the gypsies.

This morning, you will say farewell to Granada and make your way to your final destination of Valencia. You will spend the afternoon exploring the Old Town and indulging in a lovely stroll through its streets as you are introduced to the most iconic and noteworthy landmarks. This evening, you will partake in a culinary adventure with a renowned Spanish chef, who will teach you step-by-step how to make paella. Then, after creating this famous rice-and-seafood dish, you will have the chance to sit down with your cooking sensei and enjoy an al fresco feast together.

Your final full day in Spain will have you participating in a gourmet tour that will inspire you. After meeting your expert guide, you will venture to the gorgeous countryside, where you will enjoy an entire day filled with an abundance of wine, food, and phenomenal scenery. Following a scenic ride through the lovely Spanish landscapes, you will be treated to an in-depth tour at a private winery, which will be complete with several tasting of the finest blends of the region. Your next stop will have you visiting an olive farm, where you will see firsthand how olive oil is made in addition to sampling some of the best artisan olive oil in Spain.

Your final morning in Valencia will be spent enjoying brunch, and as you begin to reminisce about your vacation, you will feel confident that spring was indeed the perfect time to visit and peruse this idyllic paradise.
