Papeete – An Indulgent Welcome to the South Seas
From the plane window of your plane, you can glimpse the tropical beauty with snippets of white sand and volcanic hills cast adrift in the South Pacific. Disembark the plane, and the views are magnified with a rainbow of greens and blues blurring together. Check into your room with a panoramic view at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort, and it will seem that these colors extend for eternity, a perfect backdrop for your days of romance in the South Seas. Such vistas naturally lend themselves to a feeling of relaxation, and regardless of how long it took to reach Tahiti, within an hour of landing, you will appreciate that it was worth traveling to the end of the world. The resort has two restaurants, and three bars tucked away in 30 acres of private gardens on the coast and has long been rated as the best hotel on the island of Tahiti.
Over the next ten days, you will grow accustomed to the rhythm of the islands, one that is not marked by time but rather by pleasure. There is no need for your watch, no requirement to stay connected on Wi-Fi, and on this first day, an insight into local culture will help you to feel at home in this alternative way of life. It will not be the setting and the indulgent resort that creates a laid-back rhythm, as while the white sand and turquoise waters obviously help in this regard, the atmosphere has its roots in the people of these islands. Their culture has always been one that favors tranquility and indulgence, and through a handful of local connections and cultural demonstrations, you will completely slow your pace. Tahiti is not just a Westernized fiction in the South Pacific, but a way of life that has always enabled escapism to thrive.

Detailed Description
Picture your island honeymoon in the South Pacific as you wander the fine white sand together to create the only footprints on the beach. Turquoise and sapphire, the ocean shimmers beneath your suite as you take off your shoes and forget about the time, two facets of escapism that must be experienced to be understood. Such classic images are what make the South Sea islands so revered and so indulgent for a romantic getaway. Journey to Tahiti and Bora Bora together, and it will not just be ten days doing nothing on the white sand, as while the coast enchants and a honeymoon demands serenity, there are countless opportunities to explore these vast exotic landscapes.
The islands rise untouched and untamed with rugged peaks standing above vanilla plantations and the harmony of local culture abounding. The landscapes provide a stunning backdrop to your escape and potential avenues for adventure, such as a four-wheel drive excursion across an almost deserted volcanic island. So as this honeymoon takes you throughout French Polynesia, it also offers all of the dreamy beachside images alongside the activities that bring you a different angle and experience.
Your indulgent honeymoon explores four islands in the South Pacific, each with its quirks and idiosyncrasies. The accommodation is also handcrafted, each of the four resorts slightly different in style and atmosphere while all maintain the sense of staying in a tropical hideaway. Land in Tahiti and a day interspersed with culture helps you settle into the rhythm of the islands, as laid-back as anywhere on the planet. The next couple of days are set on Moorea, your bungalow situated on a white sand beach that slopes gently into the lagoon. This is the classic romantic escape with days of solitude in a magnificent setting. Activities can be on the water, like kayaking and canoeing to snippets of the island that rarely ever see people. They can also be on land, into a wilderness that feels impossibly exotic.
Tiny Motu Tautau islet increases the exclusivity further. Stay at a Relais & Chateaux property for two days, surrounded by the mountainous island silhouettes of the South Seas. The beach is complemented by the natural allure of the islands’ volcanic history, best explored on a four-wheel drive adventure across the island of Taha’a. Activities are on land and water here as rising across the peaks instills an energy and effervescence into your vacation. As with the rest of the itinerary, travel between the islands is efficient, maximizing the time to relax.
Complete your honeymoon on Bora Bora, where time stands still, and your bungalow is perched above the water. As with the other islands, your worries will wash away, and the experience will be dictated by your whims and pleasure. And while the beach beckons and your company charms, there is adventure to find in the water with resident sting rays and large fish in the reefs around the resort. Day trips can go further onto Bora Bora Island, or they can take you paddling past the end of the world, where it will be just the two of you completely alone on a slither of white sand. We work closely with the top Bora Bora travel companies to ensure that you have a fully customized trip of a lifetime.

Our Zicasso agent was amazing! From the beginning to the very end, she helped me plan the perfect honeymoon, whether it was finding where to go, finding the flights, and finding the best activities. She has experience and knows what she is talking about, so when she makes a recommendation, 9/10 you should listen. She recommended great restaurants and activities, and was able to provide transfers wherever I needed to go. My wife and I felt safe and comfortable when traveling the streets of Mo’orea and Tahiti.
Overall, our travel agency was great and our agent was amazing to work with. We missed our first flight and she helped me find a new one. I highly recommend working with them for any travel experience. You will not regret it! I will definitely be planning my next adventure with her.

While my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of Tahiti, I regret to say that our experience with Zicasso's travel agent did not meet our expectations. We entrusted her with planning our 10-day vacation for a group of six, including four young adults in their 20s and early 30s, and unfortunately, several issues impacted our trip.
Of the ten days we were in Tahiti, only two excursions were arranged by our agent. Prior to departure, she sent us a finalized itinerary, and based on that schedule, we booked additional activities for the open days. However, on the second day of our trip, she informed us we had missed an excursion in Moorea. I referenced the itinerary she had provided, which listed that excursion for the following day. She claimed that the schedule had changed, and I was looking at an outdated version, despite never receiving an update or notification. She then placed the blame on airport staff for not informing us of the change—something that should have been her responsibility.
Additionally, the selection of one of the hotels for four nights did not align with the preferences we discussed. While the island and hotel are beautiful, the location was extremely isolated and better suited for honeymooners or older couples. The concierge offered little support in finding local activities, and we were disappointed to miss Easter Sunday services, which we had hoped to attend but received no assistance arranging.
Another major concern was the lodging setup. Our agent booked three rooms, each with a king and a single bed. This configuration was excessive for our group, as we could have comfortably managed with two rooms. This was an unnecessary expense, especially given the already significant cost of the trip.
Due to these issues—lack of communication, poor alignment with our group’s interests, and inefficient planning—I would not recommend her services, nor would I book with this travel agency again.
