Straddled between Italy and Switzerland, the Stelvio Pass is exceptionally stunning and the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps. The 29-mile Stelvio Pass is the perfect scenic route for nimble supercars, offering an intense driving experience through the Italian Alps
This iconic route is known for its challenging hairpin turns, of which there are 48 on the northern side. Many visitors prefer the drive up through the hairpin bends, with areas where you can safely pull over and savor the moment and scenery until you are ready to continue.
The pass is open between July and October, with the mountain slopes a picturesque green. With fewer visitors, you may find you have more of the open road to yourself if you travel in September or October, when the pass may be quieter.
