We had the perfect trip, which lived up to the purpose of wine, food, and colonial culture. We covered lots of destinations in Buenos Aires, including La Boca, with outstanding steakhouses, tango shows, and a food and wine-tasting city tour. We also crossed Rio de la Plata to picturesque UNESCO-listed town Colonia del Sacramento.
We visited Montevideo and inviting wineries, then flew to Mendoza for the best Malbec wine tasting, with the spectacular snow-covered Andes as the backdrop. Then it was on to Santiago de Chile, with more visits to bodegas serving exceptional wines and food. We also toured the coast to visit another UNESCO city, Valparaiso, and adjacent Viña del Mar.
This was a trip of a lifetime. Zicasso’s agent organized it perfectly and was always available via WhatsApp for any questions.

The trip this tour company planned for us from Santiago, Chile, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had.
Our tour planner tailored the trip to our desires. The accommodations were outstanding. The private city tours were excellent--we were never kept waiting, the arrangements were flawless. The tour planner himself met us at the airports for all of the flights and transported us, in the case of our flight home, from the local airport to the International airport, in a most timely manner. Our special experiences he arranged for us, i.e., horseback riding with a guacho, deluxe wine tour in Mendoza, tango dinner show and a unique Argentine asada dining experience another night were just what we were looking for.
Our most memorable excursion was a flight to and guided tour of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, a thrilling experience, not to be missed.
We highly recommend this tour company and would be happy to answer any questions about this exellent service from anyone considering a trip to South America.

Our trip Argentina was the trip of a lifetime! My husband, son (17) and daughter (15) recently returned from our 10 day trip over the Christmas holiday. In planning the trip, we asked our travel agency to create a trip that combined good food, culture, adventure, and a chance to get to know and understand the Argentine people. We got exactly that. We started our trip spending 3 days in Buenos Aires. We stayed at a nice boutique hotel in the very cool, So-Ho like neighborhood of Palermo, in which we ate at cafes, walked through open air markets, explored the bright-colored streets filled with murals, and watched locals tango in "milangos" until the wee hours of the morning. We then shifted gears and went to a small Estancia (or ranch) outside of Buenos Aires, at which we shared a memorable Christmas dinner with the 10 other guests. Our next stop was Patagonia, the adventure part of our journey. We white water rafted, went horse back riding, and trekked on the Perito Moreno glacier. We also had plenty of time to take in a vast beauty of Patagonia, whose vistas change dramatically at every turn. Our final stop was up North to Iguazu, experiencing the incredible Iguazu Falls, and ringing in the New Year with an innovative, delicious Italian tasting menu (with plenty of Argentine wine) at De la Fonte restaurant. Throughout our visit we found everyone from our hotel hosts to our tour guides to our taxi drivers to be incredibly warm. We learned much about Argentina and the local culture, and shared many laughs (in both English and Spanish). In Buenos Aires our travel agent connected us with friends he knew well to show us some of the less traveled parts of the city. And, despite covering LOTS of ground, the entire trip went incredibly smoothly. Every transfer to every destination was clear and easy.

This tour company and our agent delivered just what we were looking for. Started the process of planning the trip 7 months ago. Went though numerous iterations and finalized on a good balance of what we were looking for... food, culture, leisure and wine. Started in Uruguay at a beach resort in Jose Ignacio. Explored a local winery and drove across Uruguay to Carmelo to enjoy a stay at a small winery. We then took the ferry to Buenos Aires and spent time exploring the city, enjoying a cooking class and going to a local Tango Milangas. Restaurant recommendations were right on point.
Took her recommendation to go Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side , which should be on everyones itinerary... not to be missed. Next on to Mendoza to enjoy a great selection of wineries and food. Then across to Chile and the port city of Valparaiso before heading on to the Colchagua Valley to enjoy some of Chiles best wines. Finished the trip in Santiago visiting friends.
Before the trip we were given an App which had all our daily itinerary's, restaurant reservations and maps. A very helpful tool. Our trip planner was available 24/7 to make changes which we occasionally did. The quality of guides, drivers and service they arranged in each location was outstanding... from meeting us at the airports, city and winery tours, and making sure we made our next flights. Things worked like clockwork and made for a stress free trip.
Only criticism of travel company would be that they need to have more cost transparency to help the planning process... notwithstanding we felt we got value for the dollars we spent.
