The bright white of the far mountains radiates in the morning light; the mountain continues to be the city’s main source of marble. Arrive in the city center where the Acropolis stands tall over the historical city, once the tallest hill in classical Athens. You can see the Parthenon lingering over the cobblestone streets of the Plaka, the oldest used street in city. From the temples of Athens that look gilded in the sunset to the marvelous beaches of Mykonos, explore the depths and expanse of the Cradle of Western Civilization, where the gods walked among people, where whitewashed homes are topped with royal blue roofs, where columns have stood for millennia, and even finding that Atlantis is possible. Let yourself live a little and delight in Greece.
Your delightful tour begins with your arrival in Athens. The great city continues to hold the pillar of Western Civilization rising above the historic center. Spend a day relaxing beneath the Acropolis where you can see the famed temples of history lingering within the clouds. Then, tour through the remains of Athens, from contemporary Greece back to the Golden Ages. Stand atop the Acropolis within arms’ reach of the Parthenon while the modern city stretches along the foothills of the surrounding mountains. Take the day to explore the city at your leisure where each neighborhood brings with it a diversity shown only to the locals and you, if you’re willing to discover it. You’ll leave the wonders of Athens behind when you board your cruise ship and venture through the opulent sea, stepping onto the shores of Mykonos. The island is known for its unparalleled beaches and lavish visitors giving you ample opportunity to relax on the sand or strut through the quaint streets of Mykonos Town.
Continue your exploration of the islands with your arrival in the Turkish Port of Ksadasi. The ruins of Ephesus, a once prestigious port city, continue to sparkle along the lush valley. In Patmos you can visit the esteemed and impressive monastery of St. John the Divine, where he was said to have written the Book of Revelations. Weigh anchor in Rhodes where you can amble along the columns spared by history on the Acropolis of Lindos, set within the shadows of the Colossus of Rhodes. Your final day on the cruise brings you to Heraklion, the capital of Crete, where bohemian cafes blend into the remains of the Venetian port city. In the afternoon you will find yourself along the cliffs of Santorini where the dazzling panorama of the caldera will shine beneath the golden sunset, and where you can visit Akrotiri, rumored to be the Lost City of Atlantis. Return to Athens where you will board your flight for home. Your holiday will always be looked upon as your deserved Grecian delight.

Our Greece travel agency was terrific. We worked with our agent and just returned from a family vacation with seven people. Our agent was wonderful. All of his hotel recommendations were spot on; his itinerary suggestion was also perfect. He really listened to our preferences and came up with ideal itinerary and locations/hotel accommodations for us (we were in Athens for five nights (including day trips to Delphi and Mycenae), Mykonos for three nights and cruised to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Patmos and Ephesus for the remaining). Our agent was incredibly responsive to all of our many questions. Initially when planning the trip we were entertaining going to either Turkey or Greece, and he planned sample trip itineraries/hotel recommendations with patience and guidance; he even showed us how we may want to combine both destinations. Ultimately, we decided on an extensive two week trip to Greece only (with a brief cruise stop in Ephesus). His guidance enabled us to really see exactly what we wanted and thoroughly enjoy our visit! We can't recommend our agent and this travel agency enough!

Our trip to Greece was fabulous. We visited Ephesus in Turkey, then traveled to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Naxos. It was a lovely trip, a mix of resorts and boutique hotels, of beaches, exploring old towns and old ruins, visiting museums and harbors, and sailing and cooking. We worked with Panos who is based in Athens with the travel agency to plan and schedule the trip. I'm happy to say that Panos was one of the very best travel agents I have ever worked with. He listened carefully to what my husband and I wanted to do, how we liked to travel, where we wanted to go, how much we wanted to spend, and what kind of accommodations we liked. He made suggestions and a tentative plan. All of his suggestions were terrific. We liked all of the hotels he recommended and were very impressed by the local guides he hired for us. It was especially terrific to see the sites and explore the ruins with knowledgeable guides who were so personable, entertaining and thoughtful. This is one of the benefits of working with someone who knows who to recommend. One thing I liked especially about working with Panos was his thoughtful attention to our comfort and safety. He made arrangements with local travel agents at each of the islands we visited to pick us up at our hotels for our various excursions and to make sure we got safely and comfortably back afterwards. He also made arrangements with a local travel agency to be "on call" for us if we needed assistance. We never needed additional help (no doubt because he planned things so well), but knowing we had someone nearby who we could call if we needed to was very reassuring. Panos also kept in contact with us through What's Ap, so that we could get his help if needed.I also appreciated Panos' extra efforts on our behalf. For example, he personally checked us in for our ferry rides from one island to the next and sent the necessary documents to me through What's Ap. All I had to do was show the check-in person the necessary document on my phone. He also sent me a list of recommended restaurants for our stays on each of the islands. Extra attention like this makes travel so much easier.

This Greece travel company did a great job setting us up at ideal locations in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. All were located in the central area, right near the center of each town for shopping and restaurants. The people at the hotels were really nice and everything was very organized that we did not have to worry about anything.

We booked a 2 week vacation to Greece with this agent and travel company for the end of May. Our travel agent helped us plan the perfect vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was the most incredible trip, more than we could ever have imagined! She planned accommodations, excursions and tours at each place we visited that highlighted each place. We started our trip in Athens for 3 nights, Crete 3 nights, Mykonos 3 nights and Santorini for 4 nights.
We were met promptly at the Athens airport by our driver taken to our Hotel in Athens where we were met by our agent personally to give us all of our tickets and instructions for our stay in Greece. As well she gave us a cell phone programmed with her number and the travel agency in case we had any issues during our time in Greece.
We stayed at the foot of the Acropolis in Athens at a wonderful boutique hotel. Our trip started with a private tour(highly recommend) of the Archeological museum of Athens ,the Acropolis and the area surrounding. Truly specials and unforgettable! A romantic dinner at a beautiful restaurant in the center of Athens. Watching the sun set on the Acropolis with all of Athens at our feet...stunning. A free day to explore a bit of the ancient and beautiful city then onto Crete.
We were met by a delightful young man, who was our guide for all 3 days on this amazing island. Wine tours, Palace of King Mynos at Knossos, ancient cities Rhethmynon and Chania, beautiful beaches and stunning views. We fell in love with Crete.
Then Mykonos. A beautiful little jewel of an island with beautiful beaches and ancient cities once attacked by pirates. A romantic dinner, tour of the island of Delos (incredible!) and getting lost in the maze of streets that make up Mykonos town.
Then onto Santorini. A jewel in the beauty of the Aegean Sea. Stunning hotel on the cliffs with a view that you never tired of, wine tours, a full day Catamaran sail to beaches and the Caldera ending with a magnificent sunset at Land's End. Santorini was the cherry on top of the trip. Truly a stunning island.
And everywhere we went the friendly, hospitable and welcoming Greek people. We can't say enough on how well orchestrated this trip was. We had flawless connections, over-the-top accommodations, incredible guides, amazing excursions that did not disappoint at any of our island visits. "More than we could have ever imagined" is how we describe this trip to friends and family. We highly recommend this company and the travel agent who planned a trip exactly to fit us personally.
Thank you Zicasso for your stellar travel agents and fantastic job of Jackie who paired us up with such great agents to choose from.
