Athens & Santorini Vacation: Exploring Greece’s Best Hotspots

Our travel agent planned our seven days in Greece based on our "bucket list" of things to see and do.  We were very happy with the overall tour that included everything we wanted to do plus many more adventures. We were met promptly at the Athens Airport and taken to our hotel with a view of the Acropolis as promised.  The next day we were met at our hotel by a great guide for a tour of the Acropolis, followed by an included lunch.  The next day we were picked up by a driver for a trip to Delphi and Meteora. Our driver was very professional and a great young man who told us much about Greek life and was very patient in trying to teach us some Greek. At both Delphi and Meteora we were met by great local guides at each location for  very interesting tours.  After a very long day touring Meteora and a five hour drive back to Athens, our driver returned us to the Athens Airport for a short flight to Santorini for three nights.  Here we also met a local guide for a tour of the island.  Our villa on Santorini had a great view of the caldera although our room was over 200 steps down, and of course, back up to the main road. We were pleasantly surprised that even in the second half of October the weather was perfect on Santorini, about 70-75 F. with a nice breeze. 

All in all, everything about our seven days in Greece was great.  All of our drivers and tour guides were on time, very interesting and passionate about Greece.  We greatly enjoyed all of our tours and the ancient history of the various locations.  Thank you!!

We absolutely loved this travel company and Greece.  Everything they did exceeded our expectations.  We spent two days in Athens and two nearby, (1 in Delfi and one in Kalambaka for Meteora), then 4 in Crete and 1 1/2 in glorious Santorini.  I stumbled upon Zicasso while looking for options in Greece.  We usually arrange much of our own trips using VRBO for accommodations but since we wanted to see islands also and Greece was totally new to us, we decided to check out Zicasso.  We got feedback from two agencies and both sounded great.  However once we spoke to our agent at this travel company, we weren't really interested in talking to anyone else.

She really listened to us and from the beginning suggested a perfect itinerary with the ideal mix of guided and independent travel, all within our budget.  We wanted to see all of the ruins and historical sights, but also meander about and check out the charming towns, shopping and incredible food !  I'm a bit of a picky eater, but had no problems in Greece.  The food was fabulous, the people very friendly, and everyone speaks English as a second language.  Check out this travel company.  You won't be disappointed.  Zicasso was a great way of finding qualified agents if you want to get quotes from multiple travel companies.

This travel company did an outstanding job on our Greece vacation last week! We toured Athens, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora, and finished up with a couple days in Santorini. Every transfer and tour was on time and very enjoyable! Each hotel selection was in a great location and very nice as well! I would definitely recommend using this agency. Our travel planner was very easy and quick to contact via email with questions also. We really had a great experience.

Our travel company provided it with absolutely reliable transfer, esp. airport transfer. There have a minor problem: Our tour not on time to pick up us during Delphi & Meteora 2days 1 night & Cape Sounion tour.

In term of accommodation, hotel that we stayed in Santorini is below our expectation. Bathroom very small, the room itself also small.

Overall, the trip went smoothly and we enjoyed our first time Greece trip.
