Here is a feedback provided to the travel agency who arranged the trip:
"Well as far as going to normal life… it is hard at least for me. Had a wonderful time an no matter what you say you guys in Italy have much less hectic lifestyle at least when looked from outside. It was our 4th trip to Italy but first one to the northern part (been just in Venice 2 years ago) and we are definitely coming back – need more time in Verona, Vicenza and first and foremost in Padua- we fell in love with this city. The entire tour was organized well – personally we do not like to sit and relax so we went to La Scala for Maria Agresta concert ( I am an opera buff and Sabina finally starts to love it too), and enjoyed immensely exhibition of Paolo Veronese in Verona – it is once in the lifetime possibility to see so many pieces of art of the same artist at the same place- especially wonderful is to follow an artist throughout his life through his works! Your suggestion in terms of renting a car was excellent. We were offered by another Italian agency similar itinerary but mode of transport suggested was a train – good thing we did not book with them as there would be a lot of wasted time for transfers not to mention a pain of getting from the train station to the hotels etc.Guides were very good- personally I enjoyed our guide in Padova the best as being an history of art specialist she was in excellent position to talk about it. We also loved our guide in Vicenza – very knowledgeable and fun person to be around. Our guide in Verona had lots of class and it was real pleasure to listen to her English! Our guide in Milan was very competent - I remember this particular tour least ( jet lag). I believe that the tours could be easily extended to 4 hours with a break for coffee and gelato! But again it is our personal preference – we are just always on the move and try to absorb as much as possible on the first visit- if we love the place we come back to get it to know more, and this is what we definitely plan to do with these 3 cities!I also believe that in the future you can suggest to your potential clients events worth while attending while on the tour ( i.e. like Veronese exhibition)- most people here in the States are rather lazy and too laid back to do the research on their own. And we are all in need of becoming more culture oriented in US.Hotels were great- I would be too cheap to book them on my own( after all you just sleep and have breakfast in them) but they made my wife very happy! And if she is happy so am I!!!Pictures – well might be a problem- my camera’s autofocus died on arrival to Milan so had to take the pics the old way with manual focusing so let’s see …
A.. Almost forgot-In Milan there was virtually no chance to see Last Supper so either you could let future clients know to book it ahead of time or make it a part of a tour ( but it would be difficult given walking distance).
Best wishes and Regards,
Piotr"

My sister, mom,and I recently came back from our dream vacation to Italy. This travel agencymade the trip and experience beyond imaginable. From the planning to execution, our travel agency made the trip of our dreams a reality. By gathering the vision we had for our trip andanswering any question we had whether big or small, our travel agency was withus every step of the way – even during the trip!
Each tour guide was an expert in their area of interest andflexible to our wants and needs. Thedrivers were personable giving us an overview of the area that we were in aswell as ensuring we were exactly in the place we needed to be (even at thetrain stations). Our cooking class inMontepulciano was amazing. We learned tomake a basic ragu that was used in the Veal Ossobuco as well as tips to make itinto different sauces, cheese soufflé, homemade pici, and tiramisu. We enjoyed the experience so much we haddinner there the same night!
We took various private guided tours from a boat triparound Lake Como, walking the Duomo in Milan, the Ancient ruins of Rome, and theVatican museum and Sistine Chapel. Othertours included day trips to Sienna and Pienza, Pompei and Mt. Vesuvius, andCapri. The only regret was not taking aguided tour of Pompei.
Our entire trip was thought through and planned perfectlyand has given us plenty to plan for on our next trip to Italy. Our only disappointment was having to comeback home! Thank you for our adventureand can’t wait for the next one!

In May, our family of five, all adults, took the best Italy tour from Milan to Rome. We visited Milan, Padua, Venice, Florence, the Tuscan countryside, Siena, Assisi, Cascia, Rome, and the Vatican. The tour was wonderful and well organized, thanks to our terrific Zicasso travel advisor. She was always available for questions and went out of her way to ensure all of our wants were accommodated in the trip plans.
The itinerary was well-thought out and we loved each of the destinations and the individual tour guides who educated us at the sites. They were thoughtful, informative, and interesting. Kudos to our agent for her excellent choices.
The hotels were also very good. We really liked the Tuscany hotel and would return there on our own. All of the hotels were well-located, which made for ease of getting around and walking the cities.
Our days were split between touring and having free time, which allowed us to explore on our own and spend time as a family. This schedule was perfect for us!
I would highly recommend this trip itinerary to anyone interested in seeing the north of Italy. Our agent did an amazing job attending to the details of the travel so we did not have to and providing special opportunities we would not have had on our own without a lot of hassles. We are definitely booking our next trips with her as she went above and beyond what we expected in her attention to us and our enjoyment of the trip!

Overall the trip was great...luxurious hotels. And we were VERY appreciative of the incredible service supplied by our travel agent...she is the best travel agent I have ever had for service of our every need. The trip was in four locations, starting in Sorrento, then Rome then Sienna and then Milan. Because of the dates and the fact that it was Easter weekend, it turned out that Milan stopover perhaps should have been skipped since most of the possible sites were unavailable. Guide in Milan was very nice...but there was not much she could take us to see. Also we were really very tired by the time we got to be with her. All the guides were quite good but in some cases it was difficult to understand what they were saying because of the accent they brought to English (Vesuvio guide especially...very hard to understand.) My suggestions would be to have more to say about the POLITICAL history of EACH region and of the country Italy overall...there was very little of that except in Milan and only because I brought it up to the guide there. I would also suggest that you perhaps supply a reading list of historical nature to your clients. While monuments, statues and frescos all are very interesting to view, it became somewhat tiresome and repetitive. I would have liked a political history t read before coming to Italy...sorry I didn't;\'t think of it. Restaurants were wonderful..pasta making lesson was a lot of fun and the meal there was exceptional. (Host was very interesting too.) We appreciate all your efforts and will use you again when we return to Italy. Thank you.
