Barcelona – Arrive in the Charm of Barcelona with the Day at your Leisure

Barcelona is an active and enchanting city with its sandy beaches and Mediterranean waters. The peak of Montjuic Hill offers stunning views of the skyline that are streaked with cathedral spires and old gabled rooftops. Palm trees line the pedestrian-friendly promenades, and the aroma of simmering onions drift from the celebrated vendors inside the La Boqueria Market located along Las Ramblas. Your flight will land at Barcelona-El Prat Airport, and your private transfer will meet you upon your arrival and escort you to your luxurious hotel located in the heart of the captivating city.

Take the time to settle into the comforts of your accommodation before enjoying the remainder of the day at your leisure. Venture to Monestir de Pedralbes for an introduction into the tradition of Catalan Gothic architecture surrounded by palm and cypress trees. The convent was first erected in the 14th century with a stunning three-story cloister. In the evening, the excitement of the city will pour into Las Ramblas, the social heart of the city. Sycamore and oak trees shade the walkways that lead from Plaça de Catalunya to the port. Boutique shops overlook mosaic walkways, and colorful produce fills the stands inside the Boqueria Market. Historical homes enclose the palm-fringed plaza of Plaça Reial as locals enjoy a glass of wine in the fading Mediterranean light to enjoy the remaining day with friends and family.

Tour Review: Spain & Morocco Family Trip, Barcelona, Montserrat, Valencia, Madrid, Toledo, Marrakesh, History & Culture

Our travel planner and his team did a fantastic job organizing my family's recent 12-day trip to Spain (10 days) and Morocco (2 days). Very pleased. We went to Barcelona, Montserrat, Valencia, Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Granada and Marrakech in a fast-paced tour during the less crowded month of February and it was amazing. Our travel planner worked with the budget I provided and the interests I specified to make sure that this was the trip of a lifetime! All the hotel, transport and tour arrangements went smoothly and it was well organized. Considering the eight cities, hotel, plane, train and tour details, this was very comforting. I liked that a printed copy of each item and ticket in the itinerary was ready for us when we arrived in Barcelona just in case. And when I had a couple of requests in Sevilla and Marrakech, our travel planner was available by phone to make both things happen! Many thanks!

Review: Vacation in Spain & Morocco, Marrakech, Barcelona, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Alhambra & Mezquita Tours, Parc Guell

Our trip to Spain and Marrakech was superb! The arrangements for transfers to and from airports, hotels, and tours was dependable and pleasant. The quality of the hotels was very good and were located in the city centers or desirable locations. Each of the tours we had, either shared or private, included guides that were excellent in both knowledge and customer service. When we were delayed because of the availability of taxis in Granada we were unable to make our tour in Córdoba as originally scheduled, our travel agency was able to arrange another tour for us later that afternoon. We were very happy that this company was able to make the arrangements on short notice.

The cities and tours arranged by our travel agency were all very enjoyable and really made our trip memorable. We especially enjoyed our stay in Ronda and our guide was excellent. I would recommend him to anyone taking a tour of Ronda.  I highly recommend Zicasso for planning your experiences and this travel agency if you plan on visiting Spain. My wife and I will always remember our trip because of the excellent planning and quality of services provided to us during our trip! Thank you Zicasso and to our travel agency for the excellent service!  Dave and Melinda Y.

We had a wonderful time in Barcelona and Marrakech despite a few snags along the way. We really enjoyed working with the trip planner from this travel company. He is professional, knowledgable and responsive. Most importantly, on the few occasions where things didn't go according to plan, Antonio was easily reachable and made things right.

Review: Luxury Spain Vacation, Madrid, Seville, Nerja, Tapas Tour, Flamenco, Wine Tasting & Lunch

I can't rave enough about the beautiful trip that this travel agent planned for us to fully experience Spain. My husband and I were headed to Marrakech on business and decided last minute to explore Spain on the way. Our agent quickly put together the perfect plan for us with visits to Madrid, Seville and Nerja. We had requested a luxury leisurely trip with unique "non-touristy" experiences and he delivered at every turn. We stayed in unique venues (including a beautiful 5-star palace!), toured the food scene in each city with locals and clapped into early morning with our own private flamenco instructor. Transportation from city to city was a breeze and each of our drivers was prompt and courteous. Our agent provided us with a list of his must-see places and favorite restaurants and even met us for coffee. The personal touch that we experienced is what stands out the most. Thanks to the meticulous planning of this travel company, we experienced a stress-free once-in-a-lifetime vacation that allowed us to experience Spain in a way that we could not have on our own.
