Detailed Description

Lisbon exudes romance. Colorful houses line cobbled streets, entire walls are covered in Azulejo tiles, and fado music emanates from mazy lanes with their strings of life floating into the sultry evening air. In the city, indulgence dominates the riverside, from majestic architecture to tasty morsels and cocktail bars. Of course, there are iconic romantic things to do here, such as indulging in the city’s incredible dining scene. This is a destination with so much more than just classic romance. It is a vibrant city of history and art that is surrounded by natural splendor and made even by great weather and an engrossing atmosphere.

Handcrafted for couples, this one-week Lisbon tour will provide you with an excellent blend of private time and exclusive activities. You will explore much of the best that the city has to offer, including the iconic highlights; however, you will also venture off the beaten path for more authentic experiences. Your accommodation will be in a stunning and recently converted heritage building. Here, you will have the entire top floor to yourself for sunset views and hot tub indulgence. All of your tours will be private, and the focus will be on seeing Lisbon that way you desire. You will also have customizable timings and dining recommendations tailored to your tastes.

You will begin your intimate exploration in the spa after your flight before your introductory culinary experience that will take the form of a private dinner on your penthouse rooftop. Day two will provide you with the opportunity to discover the city at your own pace before attending an ambient fado music performance in the evening. You will then escape to Alentejo on day three for an exclusive wine tasting before Lisbon’s palaces provide a dazzling experience throughout day four. On day five, you will cruise the river and indulge in Michelin-starred dining. Your final full day will present a private brunch picnic and a chance to create an Azulejo tile. That may sound like a lot for a week, but this is a city that moves to a slow rhythm, so you can take your time and absorb all of the city’s amorous ways.

Travel Review: Tour of Portugal, Lisbon, Algarve, Alvor

My husband and I and two other couples just came back from 8 wonderful days in Portugal arranged by this travel agency - 4 nights in Lisbon and 4 nights in the town of Alvor in the Algarve.  This travel agent did a wonderful job selecting our hotels and arranging all our tours.   Our tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.   Our driver throughout the journey was also very knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly and recommended some wonderful restaurants for us to try.  Every one in the group was completely satisfied, we would not have changed one thing with this trip, except perhaps to make it a bit longer!  Would 100% recommend this agent and his company and look forward to being able to use their services again.

Portugal Luxury Anniversary Trip Review: Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Douro Valley, Sintra, Vineyards, Cruise, Fado, 10-Day Tour
We spent 10 days in Portugal celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and everything went exactly as planned thanks to Filomena and all of her incredible planning and tour guides.  She met us at the airport when we arrived in Lisbon and welcomed us with open arms.  We went directly to the train station to head up to Porto.  We had a food tour, river cruise to see the bridges, a day trip to Coimbra and Aveiro, and two winery visits in Douro Valley while we were there.  The drivers and guides could not have been more friendly.  We felt like we were family by the end of each day spent with them. We then traveled by train back to Lisbon for a couple of days which included a guided walking tour of the city, a day trip to Sintra, Cabo de Roca and Cascais, and an intimate Fado dinner.  We then traveled to Portimão for a couple of days in the sun to rest and relax before heading home.  We did the boat tour of the Benagil Caves while we were there.  I'd highly recommend that!  We took our last train ride back to Lisbon and flew home the next day.  What a magical trip!   All of our guides and drivers were superb and we feel like we have a family in Portugal :)

Spain & Portugal Anniversary Trip Review: Sevilla, Ronda, Lisbon, Porto, Hiking, Winery Visit, Cooking Class, Private Tours
We enjoyed our trip thoroughly. All the arrangements done by Rosa were A1 quality. The hotels booked were at the best locations in the heart of the cities and great amenities. The pick ups and drop offs were on time and by good English speaking associate (knowing that we did not speak Spanish or Portuguese at all). The private tours were as per our taste and the guides for these tours were knowledgeable in their profession. We also enjoyed the cooking class in Sevilla. The hike at Ronda was just what we wanted and the culture and gastronomy tour at Lisbon was just what we needed to do in our one day stay in Lisbon. The hotel in Porto had amazing view from our room and the train station was just outside our hotel to go to sight seeing.Overall  this is exactly what we needed for our 25th Wedding anniversary!

Luxury Portugal & Spain Tour Review: Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Lisbon, 12-Night Trip
Ana and her group put together a wonderful trip for our two couples to Spain and Portugal. We visited Madrid, Barcelona, San Sabastian and Lisbon. Every arrangement was flawless, from hotel selections, drivers, and restaurant reservations. Every hotel was memorable and special. All drivers were on time.   Perhaps the best arrangements were the various guides who took us around to the local attractions. All were very knowledgeable, personable, and fun to be with for hours. Some of these guides work with other agents, but one made a point of saying that Ana’s group was not like most in that they are constantly asking for updates to make sure her clients are treated well and enjoying their time. Highly recommended.

Portugal Luxury Company Trip Review: Porto, Sintra, Douro Valley, Lisbon, Wine, Food, One Week

We could not have been more pleased with the trip Zicasso’s travel agency arranged for our company.

Every year, our company offers an incentive trip to top performers. We want to make sure everything is right and our team members have the experience of a lifetime as a thank you for their hard work. In the past, we've been to resorts and on a cruise. This is the first time we have attempted a trip. Our travel agent did an outstanding job on every little detail.

The app she provided was extremely useful and allowed us to stay in contact whenever we needed something. Our drivers were always on time, extremely informative, professional, and fun.

We spent three days touring Porto, also visiting the Douro Valley (including two wineries and a river cruise). We learned about Port wine. We visited Alcobaça, Aveiro, Nazaré, and Óbidos.

One of the couples had to cancel two weeks before our trip due to a health situation. Another had to come a day late because of a sick family member. Our agent handled all last-minute changes flawlessly.

We spent four days in Lisbon (Lisboa) and had a fantastic time. We visited Sintra, took a food tour, a cooking class, and a tuk-tuk tour. The accommodations in both cities could not have been better. We also had free time for everyone to explore on their own.

Everyone on our team and their spouses had a fantastic time. Huge kudos to our agent and her company for arranging a fantastic trip. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a family or business trip to Portugal!
