Spain Travel Agent Review: Solo Trip to Southern Andalusia Region, Food, Culture, History & Cities
After visiting Madrid and other surrounding cities, Barcelona and Valencia in the past, I was looking for a trip focused on the southern region of Andalusia. This trip was very well organized including the cities visited, the transportation from city to city, the tours offered and the hotels. The private tours were excellent and comprehensive. The hotels were also of the highest quality and the combination of activities throughout the trip were perfect for me. My travel designer was also available 24/7 by email or phone.

Review: Spain Tour, Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, Seville, Granada, Toledo, Costa Brava, Alhambra Tour, Soccer Game

We visited Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, Sevilla, Granada and Toledo.

Our travel agency took care of making hotel reservations and providing us with guides for our tour.

All hotel reservations were fine, good, clean hotels great breakfast included.

Our guides were experts, very knowledgeable, nice and polite.

Our travel agency got us tickets for a soccer game in Barcelona and a bullfight in Madrid, good accommodations.

Only in one occasion, in Sevilla, we could not meet with our guide and had to go by our selves.

When visiting the Alhambra, in Granada, at the end of the visit we couldn't find where our bus was and had to take a taxi. The guide did not return with us.

In general, our travel agency's services were very good, they made our visit very enjoyable and would recommend them to any body willing to visit Spain.

Luxury Spain Vacation Review: Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, Girona, Sagrada Familia, Museums, 1-Week Travel
The travel agency was fabulous!  The hotels selected and tours planned were perfect.  All tickets for museums, parks, and trains and transportation were arranged ahead of time and allowed us to enjoy every minute of Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid.  We recommend Elena without hesitation.  She was always accessible.  We loved the app for our phone. The tour guides were outstanding -- very knowledgable and friendly.  Restaurant recommendations were also very helpful.  Thank you for an amazing trip.

Luxury Spain Travel Review: Bilbao, Valencia, Granada, Madrid, Seville, San Sebastián, Rioja, Malaga, 3-Week Tour
Overall the trip was very good, however there were a number of issues with transfers. When we arrived in Bilbao, the driver was not there waiting for us. We were about to borrow a cell phone to call the travel company when she showed up. In Valencia, we were dropped off at the wrong hotel. (Same name, wrong location) We had to wheel ourselves and our luggage several blocks to the correct hotel, about a 15-minute walk. 3 days later, while we waited and waited for the transfer to take us to the train station in Valencia (to take the train to Granada) we realized that the driver had gone to the wrong hotel again. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLARIFIED WITH THE TRANSFER COMPANY IMMEDIATELY. There was yet another problem with the transfer at Madrid airport, when the driver was either not on time or in the wrong location to pick up the couple coming from Seville. They ended up at a taxi stand, and we had to circle back for them a couple of times.  Overall our hotel rooms were good, but we did switch rooms in Valencia as they had given both couples very unpleasant rooms facing an interior, closed, and very dark courtyard. The hotel was very helpful and did change our rooms. It was explained, by Elena that in trying to keep costs down the travel company had booked the lowest end room. We were led to believe we were getting superior rooms in the original quote. For Madrid Elena offered to upgrade us to an outside room for more money. We did not do so, the room did face a courtyard, but this courtyard was at least open, large, and bright.  Although we unfortunately did not go to Toledo due to Covid, our friends did. Had we gone we would have also been misled about the lunch which we would have thought was part of the tour. On reviewing the original quote, we see that it was not included, however the itinerary and quote were sent out months and months ago. The Azus site made it appear that food had all been prearranged and paid for as part of the tour. I think this should have been much more clarified, particularly as the other tours that included food, such as the tapas tour in San Sebastián, the Rioja tour, our tour in Malaga, and our tour of Madrid, had lead us to assume it was no different from the other tours.
