Detailed Description

Thailand’s momentous collection of islands offers a wealth of charming experiences within uncontested tropical landscapes that you will adore discovering over these two weeks. Beginning with a brief stay in Bangkok, your journey will allow you to enjoy the opportunity to uncover the fascinating energy that blankets this modern metropolis. Luxury is boundless across a cityscape that boats 5-star hotels, prestigious restaurants that are crested on mighty skyscrapers, and decadent river cruises along the Chao Phraya River, all of which you will have the option enjoy. Afterward, you will transfer to Koh Samui’s sun-bathed shorelines and boulder-bordered crescent bays, where gentle waves chant to the backdrop of idyllic limestone isles. With the fresh flavors of an elegantly mixed pina colada to welcome you, you can luxuriate in island-style bliss as you overlook the cerulean sea. Soul-nourishing spa therapy and an invigorating yoga session will awaken your senses the following day to put the cherry on top of your introduction to the islands.

Located short speed boat trips away from Koh Samui are the less-visited but no less magnificent islands of Koh Tao and Koh Pha Ngan. Each island offers contrasting charm in the spectacular experiences that they provide, and your voyage will begin with secluded snorkeling over the coruscating coral reefs that lie off of Koh Tao’s coast. You can unwind as you sunbathe on the beaches or hike to sweeping viewpoints before setting off to Koh Pha Ngan and escaping to its northern headlands. Though famous for its monthly full moon party, which you can partake in if your selected days align with the event, you will get acquainted with the stellar scenes from the intimacy of your handsome hideaway villa. On the other side of the spectrum, Koh Pha Ngan is one of Thailand’s coveted scuba diving destinations, which will provide you and your partner with the unforgettable opportunity to obtain your diving certifications and enter the depths of the sea in search of the wondrous life below.

You will then make your way to Koh Racha Yai on a great escape as you retreat to the island’s 5-star resort to bask in serenity on a private beach. This evening, you will welcome an esteemed chef into your villa for a personal barbeque for just the two of you. In the morning, you will venture out to explore the island and learn more about the local’s eco-friendly stance. Koh Lipe will allow you to step off the beaten path and surround yourselves with the wilderness.

Your final destination, Phuket, needs little introduction because it is the premier travel destination of Thailand. Though popular for a multitude of reasons, you do not need to worry about being overwhelmed by the crowds. Knowledgeable tour guides will guide you through the island’s celebrated cultural diversity and lead you on sensory-enlivening tours of its cuisine. Immersed in the heritage and with cherished images to memorialize your journey, you and your partner will leave Thailand amazed to have experienced it together.

Travel Review: Luxury Asia Vacation, Thailand, Japan. Myanmar, Tokyo, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Samuri, Elephant Experience

My wife and I just returned from a 2 week trip that included a few days in each of the following locations: Tokyo, Bangkok, Chiang Rai/GoldenTriangle, and Koh Samui. Our agent at this Asia travel company quickly understood the type of trip we wanted to plan and presented a competitively priced itinerary, which included great hotels, private guides, transportation, and activities.

Your overall comments on Zicasso

We were pleased with both travel companies that responded to our request submitted via Zicasso. Both responded quickly and thoroughly.

Excellent tour package and itinerary for a month long Southeast Asia trip visiting Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand.

Our travel agent did a super job to ensure that we had an amazing travel adventure.

Transportation arrangements for pick-up and tours were efficient and well organized.

Drivers were courteous and safe and vehicles were well maintained.

With the exception of one, all tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond helpful.

Special commendations to the following:  Our guides in Siem Reap, Cambodia, Saigon, Hoi An, Hanoi, Bangkok and in Chiang Mai.

Restaurants for lunch and food selections were exceptional.

Our vacation ended with a blissful few days of R&R at the resort on Koh Samui.

Travel Review: Luxury Thailand & Cambodia Vacation Package, Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Siem Reap, Angkor Wat,...

Simply the best travel experience I have ever had! When preparing for my SE Asia venture, I spent a significant amount of time researching each of the destinations I was visiting prior to booking my trip. I knew exactly where I wanted to stay, places I wanted to visit, and activities which I wanted to partake in. I think this was probably the best thing that I could have done in order to maximize my trip, and still allow for plenty of down time. Zicasso and this Southeast Asia tour operator were both amazing to work with, were able to take each of my "wants" and create a beautiful, adventure packed, yet still relaxing and self discovering month long voyage. Each of the individuals whom I worked with (from the planning phase through the execution phase) were exceptional. I was always pleased by the warm & welcoming tour guides, comfortable means of transportation, and fabulous boutique hotels. I am incredibly pleased with the overall work, and service which went into creating such an amazing experience. My only constructive comment, is that I was disappointed in the quality of included lunches while visiting in Bangkok specifically. I chose to embark on a bespoke, solo tour because I am a traveler who enjoys truly experiencing each culture/country I visit, and wish to avoid westernized/tourist laden restaurants. Each of the restaurants which I went to were buffet style, westernized versions of local fare. Personally I would have preferred to go to a local restaurant and given the opportunity to order the meal of my choice (even if for extra $), just as I did when visiting included restaurants in Chiang Mai and Siem Reap. Additionally, there was one more item of constructive feedback: Having greater than 1 week to enjoy Phuket, we built my itinerary to spend the first half of my time in Patong (to have fun) & the second half in Kata (to relax). When leaving my hotel in Patong, I had to wait several hours (past the agreed uoon time on the itinerary) for transportation (sitting in the hotel lobby, as I had already checked out) to bring me to Kata Beach. The manager from the local travel company in Phuket whom was providing my transportation & services while on island was very kind and came to speak with me at my hotel in Kata that evening. However, I was disappointed that he literally just came to "meet" me. He did not offer any type of good will (ie: fruit basket, dinner voucher, discount for activities, etc). With the lunches in Bangkok aside, and the transportation mix-up/inconvenience, I was 200% satisfied with my experience!

Luxury Thailand & Cambodia Travel Review: Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Koh Samui, Cycling Tour, Floating Market, Railway Market
This travel team were absolutely great. The first partner proposed by Zicasso was much faster giving me a full program and the agent was also very nice and easy to talk to, but I would have had to ask for many changes. Particularly the type of hotels and tours, which were proposed likely due to the lower budget I had given initially. It took a bit more to hear from Lenny at this travel company but he first requested a call to understand our likes and dislikes, what we were looking for and the type of travelers we were, and during that first call I mentioned that the experience was more important than sticking to the budget too. When the proposition came, I couldn't wait to travel and visit all the places suggested as well as the hotels. It's as if it had been me selecting everything, if not better, without spending all the time a trip planning requires.

We still adapted a few destinations mostly due to our time constraints and then flights availability.

We did Bangkok-Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - Singapore (although we had to book the hotel ourselves here as they don't provide services for Singapore) - and Koh Samui

In Bangkok, Siem Reap and Koh Samui we had some organized trips that were great. We loved the hotels proposed, all transfers went smoothly and couldn't be happier at the end of our holidays that Lenny and his team were with us all along the way, always in contact and available.

Excellent Excellent Excellent!

Luxury Thailand Honeymoon Review, Chiang Mai, Elephants, Mu Ko Ang Thon Marine Park, Bangkok Midnight Food Tour, Temples & Ruins
The trip planner and this tour company were absolutely fantastic. We spent 3 days in Bangkok, 3 days in Chang Mai, and 5 days in Koh Samui (it was rainy season, so we avoided the West coast). It was a dream Honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better time.We had a guide pick us up from the hotel every morning to take us on excursions. This took all the stress out of our travels.  In Bangkok we saw Temples and learned about the history of the region as well as saw the ruins in Ayutthaya. We also did a midnight food tour. In Chang Mai we got to give elephants a mud bath and then play with them in the river. We also did an amazing hike to see waterfalls and the forest. And in Koh Samui we did a day trip to the Ang Thon Marine Park and a Chinese Junk sunset tour. Everything was amazing.

Singapore, Thailand Luxury Tour Review: 20-Day Trip

Singapore and Thailand Adventure 19 February 2024

Dates: January 24th, 2024 through February 14th, 2024

In short, we were happy with the itinerary and enjoyed each location on our trip.

The execution of our travel plan and support we received from the Zicasso travel agency left much to be desired.

Highlights:

The hotels booked were excellent with highest marks for the hotel in Bangkok and the one in Krabi, which was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Locations and amenities of all the hotels were beyond reproach.

The Elephant Sanctuary was fun and everything we hoped it would be.

The night market in Chiang Mai was a highlight. Our host in Chiang Mai was the best, and super helpful.

The airport transfers and check-ins all went according to plan and were all on time with no glitches.

The lunches/restaurants on both the Krabi and Koh Samui speedboat excursions were really good and had delicious food.

Lowlights:

When we checked into our first hotel (in Singapore) early the morning of January 26th after our 17-hour flight from San Francisco, we were happy knowing that we would be getting an early check-in. However, we were surprised to learn that we were actually paying for the night of January 25th, which was not indicated in our itinerary. In fact, the itinerary stated 3 nights in Singapore, January 26th – 28th. We were not pleased with the deception and would like to be reimbursed for the additional night’s lodging.

Our biggest issue, throughout the trip came with baggage allowances and weight for all of our intra-Thailand flights. We had a total of 5 flights booked by the travel company, in addition to the SFO – SIN round trip which we booked ourselves. The problem was that all 5 flights were booked on the cheapest economy fare with minimal baggage allowances. I think it’s fair to say that when you’re taking a high-end “luxury” vacation, you don’t expect to be limited to a single 20 piece of luggage, which was what we had on our AirAsia and Bangkok Air flights. We upgraded some of the flights ourselves for additional weight and AirAsia’s “Red Carpet” Service (both at additional cost) but were unable to make some of the upgrades since the travel company used their own contact information (instead of ours) to book the flights. When we tried to make changes ourselves, the contact information didn’t match, and we couldn’t make the desired changes. We then asked to upgrade all of our remaining flights but had problems at every step.

We notified the company of Adriana’s requirements for gluten-free meals in advance of the trip. The hosts or the hotels we stayed at were rarely aware of this requirement which became a constant source of frustration.

We took a city tour in Singapore which included dinner… the Chinese restaurant was TERRIBLE and there was barely anything (gluten-free) that Adriana could eat.

We had no “host” in either Krabi or Koh Samui, but were only given a phone number to call with questions, etc. We never met anyone at either location.

We had several instances where our excursion guide didn’t know what our itinerary included. As an example, In Koh Samui, our guide and speedboat captain didn’t know that we were supposed to have a “5 Island Tour” which would include the best snorkeling spots available. It wasn’t until more than halfway through our 6-hour excursion that we showed them our itinerary to confirm. They then did a high-speed pass by 3 of the islands and the snorkeling location we stopped at was a complete waste of time. Had we known better, we would have been taken to Koh Tao, which is supposed to be one of the best snorkeling sites in the world.
