Detailed Description

Families flock to Thailand to discover its illustrious landscape, rich culture, and sandy shores. These remarkable highlights can be found on all of the Thai islands, which you will rejoice in exploring with your family over 14 luxurious days. A staple on any island-hopping tour to Thailand, Phuket will be your first destination, and it will not disappoint as you uncover the sublime scenery with thrilling activities that will be fit for your entire family. After a day to get acclimated to the island life, you will hurdle across jungle settings to the scent of fragrant wildflowers and the echoes of the inhabiting creatures.

The following day, you will slow down to witness the less-traveled island of Koh Yao Noi from the comfort of cozy bicycles. During this cycling experience, you will glide past evergreen pastures and golden rice paddies for a peaceful, wildlife adventure. Finally, before you continue your expedition to your next island, you will jump into a safe river raft and hurtle down the streams that dissect Ton Pariwat Wildlife Sanctuary in Phang Nga Bay. Whitewater rafting in Phang Nga Bay provides a wealth of sights to behold from rocky cliffs that slope toward the river to colorful birdlife that inhabits the canopy.

Krabi is part of Thailand’s mainland, but it remains a tropical paradise that is well worth a stop during your island-hopping tour. There is a garden of marvelous limestone isles that are littered across the Andaman Sea off the shores of Krabi. You will sweep along the water aboard a luxurious speedboat to appreciate the serenity of these destinations. In the waters of some of Krabi’s beaches live bioluminescent plankton. As you swim under the twinkling night stars, the water around you will light up with a hue of bright blue as the plankton comes to life in the dark sea. Witnessing the bioluminescent plankton will be an unforgettable experience.

You will then venture to Koh Samui the following morning for regal treatment among its tourism development that has been designed to showcase the best of Thailand’s islands. Elaborate dining establishments hug the coastline, where fresh fish sizzles on heated pans to be flawlessly curated into award-winning dishes. You will indulge in Thailand’s fabled cuisine as you indulge in a behind-the-scenes tour to premier restaurants and beloved, local eateries that will have you treating your taste buds to the impressive flavors of timeless dishes. You and your family will then submerge yourselves in the culinary culture as you learn to prepare cherished meals at an esteemed culinary school.

Your final destinations of Koh Tao and Koh Chang share more of the islands’ idyllic environmental highlights: viewpoints that afford sweeping vistas of emerald mountains, snorkeling spots that are illuminated by coral reefs that are teeming with sea life, and sandy seashell shorelines in which to dig your toes. Moreover, these destinations serve as surreal scuba diving spots should your family wish to witness the beautiful depths below the waves. With the continued guidance of professional instructors, you can swim deeper than ever before to catch sights of incredible sea species in their natural habitats. It is a must-check travel experience that you cannot afford to miss, and you will return home after a few days of complete relaxation with many magnificent tales about your travels.

Thailand Luxury Honeymoon Review: Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Krabi, 14-Day Tour

My husband and I booked our honeymoon in Thailand with Zicasso's travel agency. We worked with our travel agent to plan it and the itinerary was incredible! I barely had to do anything. He booked all of our activities, hotels, and transfers.

Transportation:

We went to four locations (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, and Krabi) and each time we traveled internally, a guide would drop us off and pick us up. Truly door-to-door service! We also had a private guide and driver for each of our planned activities. Our domestic travel was so incredibly easy and we were super lucky to have all of them be on time and seamless! Our tour operator monitored all the flights and before our honeymoon, made sure to update a couple whose times had changed to ensure we got to our destinations with enough time.

Activities:

We wanted our honeymoon to be equal parts adventure and relaxation. We spent the first half of our trip in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We toured temples, did a street food tour, took a day trip to a floating market, spent a day learning to cook with a local family, spent a day with rescue elephants, and visited a gorgeous national park, to name a few things. All were private tours with private guides! A shout-out to our amazing guides in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We then spent intentionally unstructured time at the beaches of Koh Samui and Krabi (I’d recommend Krabi over Koh Samui (I was the one who added Koh Samui to the itinerary, but should have listened to our travel agent!). Krabi was so perfect for a honeymoon.

Accommodations:

All were five stars and beautiful! We had cute honeymoon welcome gifts everywhere we went.

In summary, it was so worth working with our travel team to plan a stress-free honeymoon. We had an incredible time and couldn’t have loved it more!

Singapore, Thailand Luxury Tour Review: 20-Day Trip

Singapore and Thailand Adventure 19 February 2024

Dates: January 24th, 2024 through February 14th, 2024

In short, we were happy with the itinerary and enjoyed each location on our trip.

The execution of our travel plan and support we received from the Zicasso travel agency left much to be desired.

Highlights:

The hotels booked were excellent with highest marks for the hotel in Bangkok and the one in Krabi, which was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Locations and amenities of all the hotels were beyond reproach.

The Elephant Sanctuary was fun and everything we hoped it would be.

The night market in Chiang Mai was a highlight. Our host in Chiang Mai was the best, and super helpful.

The airport transfers and check-ins all went according to plan and were all on time with no glitches.

The lunches/restaurants on both the Krabi and Koh Samui speedboat excursions were really good and had delicious food.

Lowlights:

When we checked into our first hotel (in Singapore) early the morning of January 26th after our 17-hour flight from San Francisco, we were happy knowing that we would be getting an early check-in. However, we were surprised to learn that we were actually paying for the night of January 25th, which was not indicated in our itinerary. In fact, the itinerary stated 3 nights in Singapore, January 26th – 28th. We were not pleased with the deception and would like to be reimbursed for the additional night’s lodging.

Our biggest issue, throughout the trip came with baggage allowances and weight for all of our intra-Thailand flights. We had a total of 5 flights booked by the travel company, in addition to the SFO – SIN round trip which we booked ourselves. The problem was that all 5 flights were booked on the cheapest economy fare with minimal baggage allowances. I think it’s fair to say that when you’re taking a high-end “luxury” vacation, you don’t expect to be limited to a single 20 piece of luggage, which was what we had on our AirAsia and Bangkok Air flights. We upgraded some of the flights ourselves for additional weight and AirAsia’s “Red Carpet” Service (both at additional cost) but were unable to make some of the upgrades since the travel company used their own contact information (instead of ours) to book the flights. When we tried to make changes ourselves, the contact information didn’t match, and we couldn’t make the desired changes. We then asked to upgrade all of our remaining flights but had problems at every step.

We notified the company of Adriana’s requirements for gluten-free meals in advance of the trip. The hosts or the hotels we stayed at were rarely aware of this requirement which became a constant source of frustration.

We took a city tour in Singapore which included dinner… the Chinese restaurant was TERRIBLE and there was barely anything (gluten-free) that Adriana could eat.

We had no “host” in either Krabi or Koh Samui, but were only given a phone number to call with questions, etc. We never met anyone at either location.

We had several instances where our excursion guide didn’t know what our itinerary included. As an example, In Koh Samui, our guide and speedboat captain didn’t know that we were supposed to have a “5 Island Tour” which would include the best snorkeling spots available. It wasn’t until more than halfway through our 6-hour excursion that we showed them our itinerary to confirm. They then did a high-speed pass by 3 of the islands and the snorkeling location we stopped at was a complete waste of time. Had we known better, we would have been taken to Koh Tao, which is supposed to be one of the best snorkeling sites in the world.

Review: Luxury Southeast Asia Honeymoon, Thailand, Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok, Bamboo Island, Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Leh, Grand Palace

The trip was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Our Thailand travel agency had lots of suggestions for destinations and excursions when planning the trip, all of which we enjoyed. They responded quickly to any questions that I had and were very organized with giving me my itinerary and vouchers. Our trip went very smoothly, with travel agents meeting us at the airport in Bangkok, driving us to our hotel, and not leaving until we were checked in and settled. Our Bangkok agent took us to Wat Pho, Wat Arun, and the Grand Palace and was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We spent time next in Krabi, which was beautiful and my personal favorite, and then Phuket. All of our resorts were beautiful and the service was excellent. We also loved the food at each of our three resorts. The first two resorts were also relatively peaceful and quiet, possibly partly due to the fact that we travelled in October at the end of rainy season, but appreciated nontheless. The only glitch was when the local company who had been set up to transport us from our hotel back to the airport in Phuket to fly home had a mix-up about the time we were supposed to leave and did not pick us up. Our hotel ended up setting us up with a taxi. We made our flight and it wasn't a big deal so I wasn't even going to bring up having to pay for the taxi when we had already booked a previous ride. However I was emailed by our travel company the day I returned apologizing for this and saying they had refunded me for the taxi ride, even though I had never said a word to them. I would highly recommend using this travel agency when planning a trip to Southeast Asia.

Travel Review: Tour of Thailand, Krabi, Phuket, Beaches, Hiking, Local Food & Culture

The trip was absolutely amazing and it was so nice to have everything organized and paid for in advance.  The travel company was easy to work with and actually revised our itinerary 3 or 4 times to meet our needs for the trip.  It was amazing to me that all of the transfers and excursions were included and it was all organized very well.  It really decreased stress and I believe was probably a huge cost savings, as taxi service is expensive and hard to negotiate.  Our favorite hotels in terms of customer service were the hotels in Phuket, and Krabi.  The best beaches were on the resorts we stayed at in Krabi.  The ocean and beaches were not as nice at the resort in Phuket.

Travel Review: Luxury Thailand Honeymoon, Bangkok, Koh, Krabi, Ko Lanta, Spas, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Snorkeling

This company is a 1st class tour and travel agency.  My wife and I used this Southeast Asia travel agency to establish our itinerary for Thailand. The representatives at the agency were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about all of the attractions and hotels in Asia. We went for 2 weeks, and our agent worked with us throughout the whole planning process.  He put together daily activities for us, 5 star hotels, and air travel between the 3 cities we were visiting Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Krabi/KohLanta.  We had pickups arranged between each city, and pickups for each daily activity. Each hotel was aware it was our honeymoon, and gave us 1st class service with free complimentary champagne, and even a massage.  We will travel to Thailand again in the future, and this agency will be the company we go to first for planning.

Thank You,

Ryan and Claire R.

Honeymoon in Thailand: Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Krabi

My wife and I were looking for honeymoon destinations. Through Zicasso, we were directed to a travel agency that specializes in Southeast Asia tours. Our travel agent was great to work with. She gave us good destinations to travel and we chose Thailand. She new Thailand very well and knew exactly what we were looking for. We did a 10 night trip which included Bangkok, Chiang Mai and finally Krabi. Krabi was our favorite destination. Our travel agent set us up in very nice hotels in all three areas. Our agent also selected Qatar airlines for our flight. Qatar airlines was a very good airline. We were served dinner and hour after take off, then breakfast then Lunch. The food was great for an airline and they exuded great customer service.
