Reviews of Zicasso's Poland Tours
Based on 113 verified traveler reviews.
We had a very good pre-trip dynamic with Zicasso's tour agency: positive, constructive, genuine, and open. Very responsive. Very good teamwork. Very efficient.
After the experience, you could tell they truly listened to how we like to travel in terms of everything: pacing, hotels, guides, activities, and quality of local providers.
They know the area and also hold a good/solid network of providers in the area.
There was an "open line of communication with them the whole time through a simple solution (WhatsApp chat).
Their recommendations and reservations were totally on target (food). The guides were very professional. We wanted to take advantage of every day and they made us go to bed really tired (which is a good thing).

I thought Zicasso’s travel company did an excellent job making the arrangements for my recent trip. The tour guides were generally knowledgeable and helpful. The transport provided in the various locations was on time, the vehicles were clean, and the drivers knew where they were going. The one issue we had was with the transport to Normandy. The vans used were not that comfortable and this was a three-hour ride. The driver was nice and offered good information.
The hotels were nice, but we found the breakfasts to be mundane. The eggs were not to my daughter’s or my liking. I think we would have been better off getting breakfasts on our own.
The one travel guide I thought could have been better was the one for Auschwitz and Birkenau. She was knowledgeable, but very matter-of-fact. These are highly impactful places and she reported as if she was talking about a company balance sheet. I think we would have appreciated a guide who commented more on the tragedy rather than reciting all of the factual information. When millions of people have been enslaved and killed, it is something about which the guide should have more to say. She always asked for questions, but like I say, the facts were not the issue. On the other hand, perhaps the guide cannot be too emotionally involved when handling the tour regularly.
