France Luxury Family Travel Review: Paris, Annecy, Lyon, Local Cuisine, Art, Museums, Seine Dinner Cruise, Tennis, 9-Day Trip
I wanted to plan a trip to France for my husband, two teenage daughters, and myself, to celebrate our 50th birthdays. I felt a need to find expert help to plan something truly special and memorable for my family. My first phone conversation with Dev was all i needed to know that she was exactly what i was seeking in terms of expertise, desire to understand our needs, and being conscious of the many varying factors that go into planning a special trip. We had multiple phone conversations which resulted in multiple proposals as i went back and forth with my family to figure what they truly wanted to do, as this was all of their first time in France. Dev remained with us every step of the way until we agreed on nine nights in France: four in Paris, three in Annecy, and two in Lyon. One very important detail is that I was connected with a contact in the UK to help us answer questions and help us when needed. We tested out that we could connect on WhatsApp, and thank god for her, because our flight was delayed getting into Paris, and we had a tour right away. I texted our contact, she contacted the tour guide and told us how to best get to the meeting point the fastest way possible. This is an invaluable service for anyone who isn't an absolute travel pro. I didn't realize it until i needed it. They also had a few surprises and treats along the way which really made us feel special, like beautiful chocolates, wine, and they provided an opportunity to go to tea time at the hotel in Lyon which was particularly generous and thoughtful. Honestly i wonder if I can ever go back to planning vacations another way. They are a game changer.
