Entering the Capital
Delhi is a city with seemingly endless energy that comes from the streets of the old and new areas of the city. The streets are awash with color from the sandstone ruins, the marble temples, flowing saris, and brightly painted rickshaws. Your private transfer meets you at the airport and has you settled comfortably in your hotel in no time. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax along the rooftop that overlooks the old city or to step outside and enjoy your first experience within the capital of India. The aroma of grilled kebabs lingers in the air as street vendors fan charcoal grills, bringing a luscious touch of smoke to the succulent aroma.
The tomb of Nizamuddin Dargah brings in devout Sufis from across the world and adds a unique hymn to the new Nizamuddin West neighborhood where, on Thursdays, the harmonious songs of devoted followers fill the streets at sunset. The Crafts Museum brings a calm and graceful display of the coveted designs and handicrafts of the city and is where artisans display traditional weaving, pottery, and embroidery. The scent of French press coffee sifts through the courtyard while the rooms demonstrate the variety of artistry that the local craftspeople have created. From traditional clay animals to fabulously embroidered blankets you will delight in the wares that give you a sense of the people’s creativity, bring you inspiration, and offer a taste of the collected history that has brought Delhi forward with richness.

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Zicasso’s tour company! They coordinated my 60th birthday trip to India, taking me to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Mumbai. Zicasso’s travel specialist was incredibly attentive and responsive to all my inquiries, and the birthday celebration in Mumbai was epic—think 10-course meal! The tour guides were super-knowledgeable and added so much depth to the trip, making it fun and educational.
One suggestion for the travel company: consider incorporating visits to some of the more affluent and clean areas within the Golden Triangle. It would give tourists a contrast to the poverty and crowds in the main cities, and create a more well-rounded memory of India.

We had a perfect, spectacular tour of the Golden Triangle, including a tiger safari! What can we say! Excellent, timely, safe transportation. All of the guides were personable, extremely versatile, enthusiastic, and gave us a real feel with an inside view of their city. The hotels were wonderful, all well chosen. Zicasso's travel company personalized our tour to our interests. We will probably go to another location with them next year!

We appreciated the smooth logistics of our trip with Zicasso’s travel company. We had representatives meet us upon arrival at the airport, at each hotel, and upon departure from the airport to help ensure our check-in at each point was smooth. Our driver stayed with us for the duration of our trip and was friendly and prompt. We really enjoyed sightseeing in Jaipur and our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming.

Zicasso's travel specialist did an amazing job of selecting locations and properties in rural areas that perfectly suited me. I loved the tented camps and safari lodges, visiting rural villages and schools, kayaking, horseback riding, walking, and enjoying cultural activities.
I selected two resorts and they were everything I hoped they would be, with fabulous service and wonderful experiences. The travel agent selected four other hotels and they were everything I hoped for as well. I loved them all, but especially the one in Jawai Bandh, which may have been my favorite spot on the trip. The service was spectacular, with great leopard spotting, guides, and butlers.
I really wasn’t keen on the cities. I was sick in Delhi and stayed in my hotel, and quickly went through Jaipur. Two hours there was enough. Udaipur was the best of the three. I especially liked my hike there. The hotel in Udaipur was OK, but there were a lot of pigeons making a noise around the rooms.

This was truly an incredible trip and exceptionally well planned from start to finish. Zicasso’s travel company made our experience in India completely seamless and absolutely unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the tours and knowledgeable local guides to the beautiful hotels, memorable sights, and even restaurant selections.
It was clear that our personal interests and preferences were carefully taken into account at every step. We were able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience and enjoy India without worrying about logistics, which made the journey even more special.
I would highly recommend this travel company to anyone looking for a well-curated, stress-free, and unforgettable travel experience.

The trip was very good. We learned a lot about the culture, food, people, and land. We didn’t feel it was 100% as our trip to Botswana and South Africa. The guide was OK, but not great. If I were to share my itinerary, I would omit Wayanad, where we felt the drive was very long and the hotel was not up to par. Kochi, Kumarakom, Munnar, and Madurai were wonderful.
