We asked for a 2 week of Sicily, starting in Palermo, and including all the major Greek, Roman and Norman sites as well as a number of medieval hill towns with Baroque churches. Our travel agency really delivered for us. We were quite happy with the small boutique hotels, for their charm and location. We had private drivers throughout the trip, and knowledgable private guides at all of the major sites. When one guide failed to appear, on a Sunday morning, we got in touch with our travel representative, and she was able to get us another guide for later in the day.

We considered three Zicasso recommended companies for our Sicily trip. We had several exchanges with each company and selected this company, mostly due to their responsiveness to our questions. We just returned from two weeks in Sicily and had an outstanding trip. We rented a car in Palermo at the airport and circled the island over a two week period. Our agent helped us design an itinerary, select hotels, arrange guides, wine tastings and places to hike. She was most responsive to our many many requests. There were no unplanned surprises on the trip; we had particular priorities and our agent was able to match our choices with great options.
In a year we expect to return to Sicily with a group of 10 friends and plan to work with this travel agent and her company.
Our hotels we pretty good for the most part. With that said, we especially enjoyed our stay at Ucciardhome Hotel in Palermo, Hotel Villa Angela in Taormina, and Villa Concordia in Agrigento. We will hope to return to those hotels in the future.
