Customizable Itinerary
Nairobi – Along the Rift
Arrive in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya with the entirety of the immense and eclectic country before you. The sprawling metropolis is perfumed with saffron and turmeric, spices from the continent that blend into the flakiness of the street vendors’ samosas and chapatti. The skyline hovers over the city like giraffes along the savanna, while actual giraffes parade through the waves of grass just outside of the city limits. From the wandering animals in Nairobi National Park where zebra, lion, rhino and more graze along the infinite open space, to the collected wonders of the Nairobi National Museum, the city offers a diverse and endless amount of opportunity to explore Kenya’s natural beauty and historic wonders.
Start your incredible adventures with a visit to the Giraffe Center, a stunning breeding center for the Rothschild Giraffe, which is found only in East Africa. The lush openness of the center is located in what was once the home of Jock Leslie-Melville. The air is fragrant with the acacias lining the outside of the center. Giraffes wrap their tongues around the thorny trees, tearing the sprung leaves from the branches. Their eyes are heavy and large, with eyelashes that curl and flutter. Sit down for a meal in the delicious dining room where the giraffe can be seen sauntering outside or, most likely, peaking their heads through the window and asking you to share.

The trip was great. We got to see everything we wanted to see, including the big five and the migration of large herds of wildebeests and zebras.
The travel company was extremely helpful. The pre-trip prep was very thorough, but the true test came when I lost my cell phone in Mara towards the end and then our return flight was unexpectedly canceled. So I was stranded in Nairobi with my 12-year-old, having almost no means of communication with the rest of the world, and the rebooked flight was not until five days later.
The travel agency worked with local providers and put together a three-day side trip for us to go to Lake Nakuru to see rhinos, rebooked our local transportation, and made sure a local agent would be at the airport to help us when we departed — and they made all the arrangements within a day. They helped make a really stressful situation a lot easier to deal with.

Our couple's trip to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar was truly amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We went to Nairobi, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar over two weeks.
Zicasso’s travel agency made it an easy and seamless experience. They communicated well, took care of us before we landed, and provided guidance on everything we needed, including what to pack.
After we landed, they met us at the airport, provided all transfers, and had their experienced drivers transport us around the country and take us on game drives. We loved our time with our guides in Kenya and Tanzania.
We were also able to visit a Maasai village and learn about their culture. It was wonderful to talk over campfires and learn about their experiences.
The service at every camp and hotel was exceptional, and whenever we had a question or issue, our agent was quickly available to triage.
We would, without hesitation, highly recommend a trip like this! Do it!
Our agent gave us the most magical trip and was able to keep it within our budget.

Maurice did a great job organizing our trip. Our itinerary was thoughtfully planned and the communication to prepare for our trip was superb. We landed in Nairobi and spent one night there before heading to the national parks. Our hotel room was specially decorated for our honeymoon, which we appreciated.
Our first safari was at Maasai Mara. The game drives were spectacular and our guides were very knowledgeable. We highly recommend the balloon safari; it was our most memorable experience. The camp was very nice and the staff extremely friendly. However, we were told the camp was equipped with WiFi, but upon arrival, we learned there was no WiFi there. We ended up paying for an international data plan for three days.
Our next stop was the Serengeti. The driver we were supposed to meet didn't show due to car trouble. Instead, another driver met us, but he was late and not familiar with our itinerary. We got lost while driving to our campground and it took us three hours to locate it. We were too tired to go on the half-day game drive.
The next day, we had a full-day game drive and saw many animals, making the safari unforgettable. However, our car broke down on our way back to camp and we had to take a detour to a checkpoint to get it fixed. We highly recommend the Serengeti Camp. It was our best lodging experience and the staff were unbeatable.
Our last safari was at Ngorongoro Crater, which was another unforgettable experience. Although we wished we could have spent more than a couple of hours there. Zanzibar was a great way to end our trip and our hotel was a perfect spot for relaxation before heading home.
There were a couple of mishaps during our trip, some of which were uncontrollable and not a result of planning, but overall, we are very happy with the experience. Thanks to Maurice and our travel company for everything!

We used this travel agency for our honeymoon. We spent 2 nights in Nairobi, 2 nights at Lake Naivasha and the surrounding area, 3 nights in the Masai Marai and then 5 nights in Zanzibar relaxing. The experience working with the company was great-- our agent always responses to my emails promptly and adjusted our holiday as we needed it.
The hotels she chose for us were excellent and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were able to see the big 5, thanks to the fantastic drivers and trackers. We enjoyed our downtime in Zanzibar at a beautiful resort as well. Our transfers were well arranged and all spoke excellent English and were very knowledgable. Since it was our honeymoon, we wanted to make sure that we were still enjoying our time in Africa in nice hotels/lodges/camps, and our agent picked us some wonderful ones with amazing staff! I would highly recommend using this company when planning your trip.

Our travel company was absolutely brilliant! From the very beginning they offered something different; at the price range my wife and I were looking at, most itineraries in Kenya were circuit safaris around the country involving a lot of driving, and only 2 days in the Maasai Mara. Our main goal was to see the migratory herds in the Maasai Mara, and our travel agent was able to offer us a package where we stayed in the Mara for the entirety of our stay. Our Kenya tour company was of great help after we booked as well. A few weeks before we went, the tragic shooting in the Westgate Mall in Nairobi occured. We wanted to cancel our day in Nairobi afterwards, and our travel agent took care of it without a hitch. This was our first time using a travel agent, and this tour company showed just how valuable they can be!
